OK, this is simultaneously a hideously shite idea as well as a freaking cool one.
The basic idea is that parents who are concerned that their kids will take drugs can communicate to them in a cool, supportive, non-judgmental way. The oldies can head to The Sound Advice Project website and record a short message i.e. I love you or whatevs. Then the site converts your message into a sound wave. Mum or Dad then choose colours for the beads and the string, pay $18 and shortly after a cute beaded bracelet in the exact shape of the sound wave rocks up in the post!
Although, obviously no one is going to not take drugs cos their mum gave them an $18 bracelet. But it's still an awesome bracelet. And I bet you can also get on there and create soundwaves that say really obscene things! YAY!
