Mae West: Rad Bitch

Mae was an actress, playwright, screenwriter and sex symbol.

She performed from the age of five but only got her first film part in 1932 at the age of 38, old for any first time film actor but extraordinary considering she went on to become a notorious femme fatate.

West was known for her quips and double entendres, employed to avoid the attention of the censor. Some of her more memorable lines are:

“Is that a pistol in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?”

"When I'm good, I'm very good. When I'm bad, I'm better"

"Too much of a good thing can be wonderful"

Check her out at Wikipedia.
